Definitions of terms & values
- drainage: gives the drainage area in square kilometers
- status: A for active stations and D for discontinued ones
- regulation: R for stations where the flow is regulated, or N for natural, unregulated ones
- years: number of years that the station has been in use
- av. peak flood: the average annual instantaneous peak flood, multiplier is the ratio of Q100 to the average peak flood for this station;
- Q2/A^0.75: the average peak flood divided by the drainage area raised to the power of 0.75. This formula can be used with the multiplier to get a ball park estimate of Q100 for creeks in the vicinity.
